This paper was presented at the 40th international symposium on crop protection. Notes are given on several weed control problems in maize in New Zealand. They include herbicide residues, degredation of EPTC + dichlormid, atrazine resitance in Chenopodium album and Polygonum persicaria, and specific weed problems.
